The Kingsport Carousel has an active volunteer roster and welcomes others to join in on the fun. Local residents (from High school kids all the way to Senior Citizens!) that have a passion to be in a happy place and share a joyful experience will love it.
The Kingsport Carousel Project has been a joint effort of more than 300 volunteers and 700 sponsors along with the City of Kingsport Office of Cultural Arts, Engage Kingsport Inc. and a wide variety of community partners. The dream became a reality and on July 10, 2015 the completed Kingsport Carousel opened to the public.
